Preferred Qualifications:
- Five years of prior nursing experience strongly preferred
- Previous cardiac or cardiovascular care experience preferred
The Stress Lab Nurse plays a vital role in supporting the safe and efficient delivery of cardiac stress testing services. Responsibilities include patient assessment, monitoring patients throughout testing procedures, medication administration, patient education, and responding to clinical concerns during diagnostic testing. This position works closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.
In addition to direct patient care responsibilities, the Stress Lab Nurse supports departmental operations by promoting scheduling efficiency, maintaining patient throughput, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and contributing to continuity of care. This role is essential to meeting the growing cardiovascular needs of our community while maintaining the highest standards of patient-centered care.

The Senior Professional Staff Nurse is a Registered Nurse and a valued member of the care delivery team. This role is responsible for setting standards for the level and quality of care provided. The Senior Professional Staff Nurse has responsibility, authority, and accountability for nursing practice and patient outcomes. Through the application of independent judgment, effective communication, and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members, this nurse manages and provides care for patients and their families across the continuum of care.

Title and salary will be determined based on education, experience, and career ladder qualifications.
Responsibilities:
*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
